Concept

'Meetings'

In my last ten years I've been travelling around Europe quite often and it's always amazing to meet new people.
People coming from all over the world with their little stories to tell, their aims, their lifes.
Where are they coming from? Where are they going? I am always wandering...
Especially in the airports, when I have to catch a flight, I often go three hours before the real opening of the 'check-in' just to sit and to watch people passing by.

I would like to start this journey from my own experiences and try to develop it thruogh them.

Panorama

In 20 seconds I tried to combine together picture, text, music, movement and my own voice, all of them related to each other, according to a passage in the book 'Here is where we meet' written by John Berger.

Vista panoramica

I walk towards the field where the wild sorrel grows.
I have left Bogena's potatoes in a small pile on the planks of the bridge where they are glowing like eggs.
I cut the sorrel plants with my pocket knife. They are about the size of young dandelions, but the green of their leaves, like their taste, is both sweeter and more acid.
They grow in clumps together, so I sit down and spread out my handkerchief on the grass
and place the cut leaves on it.
